1. Introduction
Welcome to GeneralResourceZone ("we," "our," or "us"). These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our yacht charter services and website at generalresourcezone.top (the "Service") run by GeneralResourceZone.
By reserving a yacht or using our Service, you consent to comply with these Terms. Should you not accept any part of these terms, you are not permitted to use the Service.
2. Service Overview
GeneralResourceZone offers high-end yacht charter services that include, but are not limited to:
- Yacht hiring for the day
- Evening boat tours
- Company getaways
- Exclusive gatherings
- Extended yacht journeys
Availability of services depends on several factors and may change. We have the right to alter or cease any service at our discretion.
3. Booking and Reservations
3.1 Booking Process
Requirements to book a yacht include:
- Minimum age of 18
- Provision of accurate and complete details
- Remittance of the necessary deposit as outlined in your booking confirmation
- Adherence to these Terms & Conditions
3.2 Confirmation
A booking is confirmed only with the fulfillment of payment and our official written confirmation. Service might be declined for any client at our discretion.
3.3 Availability
All yachts are subject to availability and favorable weather conditions. We will endeavor to meet your requested dates and times whenever feasible.
4. Payment Terms
4.1 Pricing
We quote all prices in € which include all applicable taxes unless specified otherwise. Prices are subject to change without prior notice.
4.2 Payment Schedule
- Deposit: 50% of the full charter cost is due at the time of booking
- Remaining Balance: Payable 48 hours prior to the charter's departure
- Incidental expenses (if applicable): Payable after the charter's completion
4.3 Payment Methods
We accept a wide range of payment methods including major credit cards, bank transfers, and certified checks. Secure, encrypted systems manage our payment processing.
5. Cancellation and Refund Policy
5.1 Customer Cancellations
- With over 72 hours before departure: Full refund minus processing charges
- Between 24-72 hours before departure: 50% refund
- Less than 24 hours prior to departure: No refund will be provided
5.2 Weather Cancellations
Should the captain deem weather conditions as unsafe, we will offer:
- Rebooking of your charter at no extra charge, to a new available date
- A full refund if rearranging is not feasible
5.3 Mechanical Issues
If your assigned vessel encounters mechanical failure, efforts will be made to arrange an equivalent replacement. If a suitable substitute is not available, a complete refund will be issued.
6. Safety and Conduct
6.1 Safety Requirements
All guests are expected to:
- Obey all commands from the crew
- Use provided safety gear when necessary
- Disclose any medical conditions that could impact their safety
- Stay within the designated areas on the boat
6.2 Prohibited Items
We do not allow the following items aboard:
- Glassware
- Illegal substances
- Firearms or other weapons
- Excessively large quantities of beverages
- Pets (without prior consent)
6.3 Conduct
Guests are required to behave respectfully. A charter could be terminated early without a refund if a passenger's behavior threatens safety or hinders others' enjoyment.
7. Liability and Insurance
7.1 Our Liability
We limit our liability to the charter fare paid. We do not accept responsibility for:
- Personal injury due to your negligence
- Loss or damage of personal items
- Indirect or consequential losses or punitive damages
- Delays due to weather or events beyond our control
7.2 Insurance Coverage
We keep comprehensive marine insurance for our fleet and business activities. Passengers must arrange their travel and personal insurance.
7.3 Assumption of Risk
Engaging in our charter services implies acceptance of the inherent risks associated with marine activities, and you accept responsibility for your own safety and security.
8. Modifications and Itinerary Changes
We reserve the right to adjust itineraries, routes, or schedules because of weather, safety concerns, or operational necessities. We will strive to offer comparable substitute experiences whenever possible.
9. Force Majeure
We shall not be held liable for shifts, cancellations, or amendments due to factors outside our control, including but not restricted to:
- Extreme weather
- Natural catastrophes
- Rules set by authorities
- Harbor closures
- Technical failures
10. Privacy and Data Protection
Your private information is managed per our Privacy Policy. Service usage conveys your agreement to data collection and usage as detailed in this Privacy Policy.
11. Intellectual Property
All content on our website, such as texts, visuals, logos, and pictures, falls under copyright and trademarks laws. No reproduction, distribution, or creation of derivative material is permissible without our explicit authorization.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are subject to the governing laws within France. Disputes are to be settled in the courts located in Nice, France.
13. Changes to Terms
We may amend these Terms at our discretion. Adjustments will be published on our website with a note of the revised date. Using our services after changes indicates acceptance of the new terms.
